York City Ladies win the North Riding FA Women’s Cup
YORK City Ladies are champions again after winning the CLS Sports North Riding FA Women’s Cup for the second year in a row.
After storming to a 10-0 victory in last year’s final to lift the trophy, York found themselves in a much closer contest when winning 1-0 at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough Women under-23’s, being crowned champions and confirming their defence of the trophy.
