Winstanley says the aim still remains the same for Brinscall
Brinscall’s start to the summer has certainly been a case of what might have been, but captain Liam Winstanley insists back-to-back defeats have not altered their pre-season aim of promotion from the Championship division.
The School Lane side have been beaten by Whalley away and Oswaldtwistle Immanuel at home in the opening two rounds of this year’s Anthony Axford North West Cricket League, despite having chances to win both games, especially last Saturday.
