What Tottenham stars said on Ange Postecoglou's future after Europa League win
Many Tottenham players have publicly called for Ange Postecoglou to stay at the club after their Europa League final triumph.
The Australian became the first manager to win any major silverware for Spurs since 2008 – and the first to bring a European trophy back to Tottenham for some 41 years – with Wednesday night’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United in Bilbao, sealed by Brennan Johnson’s scrappy goal shortly before half-time.
“He won the trophy. Nobody did it,” said Spurs captain Heung-min Son.
