etched his name into the elite 90-metre club in a spectacular moment at the Doha Diamond League 2025 on Friday. Chopra created history in the third round when he registered a gigantic 90.23m throw, leaving everyone including fans and commentators in awe.

He started the competition with a bang by throwing the javelin to 88.44m in the first round and taking the world lead. Chopra missed out in the second round but landed well beyond the 90-metre mark in his third. Chopra raised both his hands in celebration showing he knew he had just accomplished something special.

When the official measurement was confirmed and the numbers were displayed on the scoreboard, the Indian star embraced fellow competitors, sharing the moment with Germany’s Julian Weber and compatriot Kishore Jena, who finished 8th out of 11 athletes in the final standings.
