Liverpool are looking to complete the signing of Jeremie Frimpong as they also aim to hijack Manchester City’s approach for Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Florian Wirtz, though could yet pivot to Rayan Cherki. The Reds are also now rumoured to have started talks over a shock swoop for Chelsea forward Christian Nkunku, though Dean Huijsen is poised to complete a medical at Real Madrid on Friday.
