Tottenham’s first European semi-final since 2019 got off to the perfect start when Brennan Johnson netted after just 37 seconds, arriving late at the back post to nod home Richarlison’s looping pass. Bodo/Glimt settled into their rhythm after falling behind, but their efforts were rendered meaningless when James Maddison slipped in a second for the jubilant hosts midway through the opening half.
