Ange Postecoglou says he will not let heart rule head when deciding whether to start Tottenham captain Heung-min Son in the Europa League final.
Son returned from a foot injury to feature for the final half an hour of Spurs’ 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday and is set for more minutes in Friday’s visit to Aston Villa – their final game before they face Manchester United in Bilbao on May 21.
And Postecoglou says he will not allow the emotion of Son’s situation to influence his decision over whether to play his captain from the start in Spain.
