Tommy Fury will officially resume his boxing career tonight, fighting for the first time in 19 months. He takes on Bosnian Kenan Hanjalic at the MTK Arena in Budapest, looking to get back on track having not competed since he massively failed to impress in a contentious points win over KSI in Manchester in October 2023 that came following that memorable success over arch-rival Jake Paul.
Fury, unbeaten in the professional ranks at 10-0, was supposed to return against UFC fighter Darren Till in a crossover contest to headline the Misfits Boxing 20 card earlier this year, only to withdraw from that bout citing concerns over his opponent’s threats to use MMA tactics in the ring. Instead he makes his comeback in Hungary this evening in a cruiserweight main event that is only scheduled for six rounds.
