Toa Mata’afa makes impressive debut for York Knights against Hunslet
YORK Knights are becoming a dab hand at mid-season acquisitions, and if Sunday’s debut against Hunslet is anything to go by, they seem to have unearthed another gem in Toa Mata’afa.
The Samoan back arrived from French side FC Lezignan during the week but had a first run-out to remember with two tries and two assists from full-back in York’s 58-8 demolition of their old foes.
