Ronnie O’Sullivan is among them and will be hoping to make a strong start when he takes on Zhao Xintong this afternoon. The Rocket charged into the last four with a 13-9 victory over Si Jiahui last night.
In the evening session, Judd Trump will begin his semi-final meeting with Mark Williams following his triumph over Luca Brecel in the quarters. He came from 7-5 down to secure a 13-8 victory, winning five straight frames at the end. Williams, meanwhile, edged past John Higgins in dramatic fashion after a deciding frame was required to split the pair.
