Sheffield show their steel with two victories at Gin Pit
Astley and Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club hosted Sheffield in a North and Scotland League fixture at Gin Pit last Sunday but lost out to the defending champions.
On a warm, sunny day, the track required regular watering to keep the dust down and raceable.
