Police launch investigation after two riders die in awful 11-bike Oulton Park crash
Cheshire Police have issued a statement confirming they are launching an investigation into a catastrophic crash in a British Supersport race at Oulton Park, which claimed two lives. Riders Owen Jenner, 21, and Shane Richardson, 29, both died with injuries sustained in the incident.
Racing was abandoned at the Cheshire circuit as paramedics rushed to attend the scene of an 11-bike crash in the very first corner of the race, with the remainder of the day’s scheduled racing cancelled, after the two devastating deaths were confirmed by authorities.
