Philadelphia Eagles star players skip Donald Trump meeting at White House as US President takes swipe at Taylor Swift

Unlike in 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House this time to meet US President Donald Trump. However, a few players were missing, and the President also used the occasion to take a dig at Taylor Swift.

The Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House on Monday with some of their key players missing as they were honoured by the USA President Donald Trump
for winning Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles won the National Football League (NFL) championship by beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the final.

Interestingly, Eagles’ trip to the White House in 2018, after winning the Lombardi Trophy, was cancelled by Trump as a majority of the players did not want to attend the ceremony over the dispute over the national anthem.

However, on Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles team gathered at the South Lawn to celebrate their victory in Super Bowl LIX.
