Mikel Arteta reiterates Arsenal 'best in Champions League' claim, says Liverpool deserve guard of honour

Besides defending Arsenal’s performance in the Champions League and his claim, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Premier League champions Liverpool will receive guard of honour from second-placed Arsenal on Sunday.

earlier this week.

The choice of words after elimination from Champiosn League did not go down well with fans and experts but Arteta reiterated the same on Friday.

Speaking ahead of second-placed Arsenal’s trip to Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday, the Spaniard stood by his midweek assertion that he had not seen a better team in Europe’s top club competition.
