Alpine have announced that Jack Doohan will step back in favour of Franco Colapinto for at least the next five races and popular F1 pundit Martin Brundle has offered his take on the brutal decision

Martin Brundle has claimed Jack Doohan should have been given until the summer break following his “brutal” F1 axe. The Alpine driver has been cut in favour of Franco Colapinto, who will partner Pierre Gasly for at least the next five races.
