MARK Applegarth was a ‘proud coach’ after steering his York Knights team to Wembley Stadium for the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup final.
The Knights overcame a challenging Bradford Bulls team 28-20 at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday, meaning that York were heading to the capital to play in the 1895 Cup final against Featherstone Rovers.
