The day has finally arrived, with head coach Andy Farrell poised to announce his British and Irish Lions touring squad for the summer trip to Australia. The most famous touring side in rugby union will head down under following a clash with Argentina in Dublin on June 20.
They’ll play nine matches on tour, including a three-match Test series with the Wallabies. Farrell’s squad is expected to be dominated by Irish players, although the 49-year-old now faces a huge call over his captain and whether or not to pick son Owen, now based with Racing 92 in France.
