Lewis Hamilton impressed with a stunning drive from P12 to P4 at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Sunday. He delivered a heartfelt radio message to Ferrari and their fans after the race. Meanwhile, teammate Charles Leclerc endured another struggling day behind the wheels.
Lewis Hamilton showed once again why he is a seven-time Formula 1 world champion with a brilliant drive at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, where he finished fourth and almost took his first podium for Ferrari in front of home fans.
The British driver, who joined Ferrari this season, started from 12th after a disappointing qualifying at Imola, where both he and teammate Charles Leclerc were knocked out in Q2.
Despite the poor start, Hamilton had a great race and made up eight positions to finish P4. Many believe that if the race was just a few laps longer, he could have overtaken Oscar Piastri and scored his first podium in a proper race for Ferrari. He has won two sprint races for Scuderia so far but is yet to win a full race.
