Lamine Yamal hits goal of the season contender as Barcelona held to draw by Inter
Lamine Yamal and Denzel Dumfries were the stars of the show as Barcelona and Inter Milan battled to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys. Dumfries set up Marcus Thuram for an impressive finish just 30 seconds into the game – the quickest goal in a Champions League semi-final – before the Dutchman spectacularly doubled the Serie A champions’ lead.
Yamal brought the LaLiga leaders back into contention with a potential goal of the season on his 100th appearance for Barcelona, and Ferran Torres equalised from close range to conclude a captivating first half. Dumfries put Inter back in front shortly after the hour mark, but they were swiftly pegged back when Raphinha’s long-range shot ricocheted off the post and hit Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer before going in.
