Jon Rahm breaks silence on wild shot that bounced off PGA Championship fan’s head

Jon Rahm has given his side of the story after hitting a fan with a wayward shot at the PGA Championship. The scary incident took place during Saturday’s third round, while Rahm was navigating the par-four 11th hole. His approach shot dragged well wide of the green and ended up bouncing off the fan’s head in a frightening scene.

Rahm quickly went over to check if the fan was okay and spent time apologising with a hug and a handshake. He also signed a glove for the victim of his stray shot, who seemed to take it incredibly well. The ball rebounded to the other side of the green, with Rahm eventually chipping and two-putting for a bogey.
