Jack Draper continues his bid for a first clay-court title as he takes on Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals of the Madrid Open this evening. The Briton has enjoyed a superb week already and will move into the top five of the world ranking for the first time, overtaking Novak Djokovic to do so.
Having won his first Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells earlier this season, Draper has carried that form onto the clay courts and has not dropped a set in his four wins in Madrid. The fifth seed has swatted aside the likes of Tommy Paul and Matteo Arnaldi, and has vowed to keep trying to “bully” his opponents.
