Jack Draper will be eyeing another statement win over Carlos Alcaraz as the two meet in a much-anticipated quarter-final clash at the Italian Open this afternoon. The British number one got the better of Alcaraz when they last met at Indian Wells on his way to winning the title, and he is firmly in the hunt for a third Masters 1000 final of the season.
Draper is now up into the top five of the world rankings and is producing the best clay-court form of his career, having reached the final in Madrid last week. The 23-year-old had to battle back from a set down to beat Corentin Moutet in the last-16 yesterday and now meets Alcaraz for a third time this year.
