Jack Draper repeatedly screamed ‘f***’ as the Brit’s anger with his performance against Carlos Alcaraz reached boiling point at the Italian Open. The 23-year-old was frustrated after allowing a 4-2 first-set lead to slip.
Draper led Alcaraz in their fourth-round clash. He waltzed into a 4-2 advantage, giving himself a strong chance of winning the first set. The World No. 5 even had break point to go 5-2 ahead. However, Alcaraz saved them and went on to dominate the next four games. The Spaniard took the first set 6-4 in a crushing blow to Draper.
