It’s Grim for North Walkden as Carl nets late winner for CMB
A dramatic stoppage time winner from substitute Carl Grimshaw secured a 1-0 win for CMB over North Walkden in the Bolton Hospital Cup semi-final at Daisy Hill’s Plumb Factory Stadium on Wednesday night, writes Ian Templeman.
In a close fought game, it appeared that penalties would be needed to separate the sides, until Grimshaw struck to send his side through to a place in the final against Daisy Hill at Radcliffe’s Neuven Stadium on Friday, May 16.
