Grand National jockey banned for racing injured horse that “had no more to give”

The 2025 Grand National saw Broadway Boy and Celebre D’Allen fall midway and receive extensive treatment from vets and one of the riders has now been hit with a suspension for his actions
Grand National jockey Michael Nolan has been slapped with a 10-day ban after his horse fell during the race with the stewards claiming the animal “appeared to have no more to give”. Celebre D’Allen was one of two horses to fall during Saturday’s race at Aintree.
