Former Press editor’s book on Goole Town raises funds for charity
SALES from a book on the history of Goole Town Football Club written by former York Press sports editor Martin Jarred has netted lots of cash for charity.
Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is to receive £3,214 from his book “Pleasure and Pain” which came out just before Christmas.
