Oscar Piastri has enjoyed a sensational start to the 2025 F1 season after storming to the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings. The Australian has won four Grands Prix this season and has crossed the chequered flag in first position at each of the previous three races.
The F1 season heads to Europe for the first time this weekend as the drivers descend on the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the race last season when the Red Bull car was still dominating. But McLaren are now the team to beat, with Piastri 16 points ahead of his team-mate Lando Norris at the top of the pecking order and Verstappen trailing the leader by 32 points.
