Everton legend Peter Reid drunk live on TNT and admits ‘I’ve had a few shandies’

Peter Reid was interviewed on live TV after ‘having a few shandies’ before Everton’s final match at Goodison Park. The Toffees faced Southampton in their last home game of the Premier League season. It was an emotional day for all involved, given that it was Everton’s final outing at their famous old stadium before moving into their new ground ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Before the match got underway, a number of Everton legends were invited onto the pitch to soak up the applause of the capacity crowd. The likes of Duncan Ferguson, Phil Jagielka and Wayne Rooney were all spotted wandering around and chatting amongst themselves. Peter Reid was also in attendance, with the 68-year-old clearly enjoying himself in front of the TV cameras.
