Emma Raducanu discovers favourable Italian Open draw as Jannik Sinner returns
The draw for the 2025 Italian Open has been announced with Emma Raducanu discovering that she has been handed a favourable opening match. The Brit will face an unknown qualifier in her first-round match, with Ekaterina Alexandrova waiting for the victor of that match in the second round.
The 22-year-old could go on to face Coco Gauff in the round of 16. Fellow Brit Katie Boulter will take on Anastasia Pavlyuchenko in the first round, and clashes with Australian Open victor Sofia Kenn and world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka could await her if she can overcome her early challengers.
