Dominic Solanke: I joined Tottenham to win European trophies, I've dreamt about this
Dominic Solanke says the chance to play in European finals was the reason he joined Tottenham after the club set up a meeting with Manchester United in the Europa League showpiece.
Solanke opened the scoring as Spurs beat Bodo/Glimt 2-0 in Norway on Thursday to clinch a 5-1 win on aggregate over two legs of the semi-final.
“100 per cent. When you’re at big clubs, you always want to be fighting for silverware. We’ve got the chance to do that in a few weeks,” he said.
