Chelsea's problem position and the big decision hanging over Enzo Maresca

Enzo Maresca raised more than a few eyebrows on Wednesday when he claimed it would “make a statement that Chelsea are back” if his side go on to win the Conference League.
The Blues welcome Djurgardens to Stamford Bridge for Thursday’s semi-final second leg, already 4-1 up from the first and well aware (because everyone keeps reminding them) of how humiliating it would be if they fail to win Europe’s third-tier competition.
Robert Sanchez remains their No1. He will be rested in favour of Filip Jorgensen against Djurgardens on Thursday but is expected to come back in for Sunday’s game against fourth-place Newcastle at St James’ Park.
