This match was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon, but Spurs successfully appealed to the Premier League to bring it forward, much to the frustration of tonight’s hosts, as their opponents in Bilbao, Manchester United, are also in action tonight at Chelsea.

As such, Spurs can be expected to field a far from full-strength line-up, especially after Dejan Kulusevski was ruled out for months with a knee injury. The entire defence should be rotated, while the likes of Wilson Odobert, Pape Sarr and Richarlison are likely to be given a chance to stake a claim to start the final with minutes tonight. Heung-min Son also needs another run out.
