Arsenal: Mikel Arteta hails Kai Havertz for 'transformation' during injury lay-off to send message to squad
Mikel Arteta says there has been a “transformation” in Kai Havertz’s body during his injury lay-off and the striker has now taken his physique to a “different level” by bulking up.
Havertz injured his hamstring in February and the initial diagnosis was that he would miss the rest of this season.
“There’s been a transformation in his body,” said Arteta. “The last three years in his career have been so condensed that he hasn’t had time to do that and this has been a window and he really wanted to use it.
