Ange Postecoglou hits back at Arsene Wenger over Europa League claim: 'Spurs does crazy things to people'
Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou laughed off Arsene Wenger’s claim that it is “not right” for the Europa League winners to qualify for the Champions League, saying: “Spurs does crazy things to people.”
Former Arsenal manager Wenger, who is now FIFA’s head of global football development, has called on UEFA to review the rule, which has been in place since the 2014/15 season.
Postecoglou has recently railed against what he perceives as maligned outside influences who are determined to do Spurs down, and asked about Wenger’s remarks in Norway ahead of the second leg against Bodo/Glimt, the Australian returned to the theme.
