Anfield pleased as Valkyrie power into Challenge Cup semi-finals
LINDSAY Anfield was full of positivity as York Valkyrie defied Jess Sharp’s red card to sail into the Women’s Challenge Cup semi-finals with a 52-0 rout of Leigh Leopards.
Emma Kershaw and Jazz Rampton were at the double for the hosts, for whom Savannah Andrade, Eboni Partington, Izzy Brennan, Izzy Bibby, Tara Moxon also found the whitewash, as they set up a clash with old foes St Helens for a place at Wembley on May 11.
