Agony as British syndicate horse Shes Perfect disqualified in French 1,000 Guineas
Shes Perfect was first past the post at Longchamp but lost the race in the stewards’ room and was demoted to runner-up
Basher Watts and trainer Charlie Fellowes could contest the decision of the Longchamp stewards to disqualify Shes Perfect from first place in the French 1,000 Guineas. The daughter of Sioux Nations, who carries the colours of Basher Watts Racing, and jockey Kieran Shoemark finished a nose in front of favourite Zarigana in the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches at the Paris track.
