Indian boxer and 2017 World Championship medallist has slammed Shahid Afridi for questioning the Indian Army. He also said that the world knows Pakistan ‘sponsors’ terrorism.
Indian boxer Gaurav Bidhuri, who won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Boxing Championships, has reminded Shahid Afridi of the 1971 war and the surrender of approximately 93,00 Pakistani soldiers as the former Pakistan all-rounder engaged in anti-India and
anti-Indian Army remarks in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Amid the rising tension between India and Pakistan, Afridi had termed the Indian Army “useless” as they failed to protect the tourists in Pahalgam. 26 tourists lost their lives in the
terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on 22 April.
Reacting strongly to Afridi’s disparaging remarks, Bidhuri slammed the former Pakistan cricket team captain for questioning the Indian Army and deflecting the blame.
